If the following situation occurs, the steering rack needs to be replaced

1.Oil leakage: The oil seal in the steering gear can break due to aging and wear, resulting in loss or leakage of hydraulic oil. Oil leakage can cause difficulty or malfunction in steering operation.

2.Abnormal noise: A snap, noise, or hiss may be caused by worn steering gear, pin shaft, or rack.

3.Excessive steering force: Blockage or wear of the steering gear oil pipes or passages can cause excessive hydraulic oil pressure, excessive steering force, or even steering failure.

4.Steering failure: Steering failure can be caused by reasons such as damage to the steering gear, blockage in the oil circuit, and failure of the oil pump, which will affect driving safety.

5.Shake or shake: Worn or loose parts in the steering gear can easily cause the vehicle to shake or shake during steering.

3. Clean the mounting bracket of the steering gear and relevant mating surfaces of the steering gear.
4. fit for the adjustable steering column, use a suitable rope to pass through the space of the cross fork of the steering shaft, hang the steering shaft, and connect the steering shaft and the input shaft of the steering gear.
5. Turn the steering gear to the middle position to align the relevant marks at the input end and output end of the steering gear.
6. Install the steering gear on the mounting base and tighten the fixing bolts.
7. Universal joint or coupling between mounting column and steering gear.
8. fit for the adjustable steering column, the upper end seal of the steering gear shall not be damaged when the universal joint is installed.
9. Keep the steering wheel in straight ahead position.
10. Put the pitman arm on the steering gear to align the two marks.
11. Tighten the locknut according to the specified torque and rivet (anti loose pit)
